The mobile marketing industry has increasingly experienced pushback from dissatisfied consumers and marketers in response to SMS "spam".
Two years ago, MoCo co-founders Rob Davies and Robyn Cowie identified way to overcome this problem by building a permission-based / opt-in mobile marketing system that, for the first time, would put the consumer in control.
A permission-based approach solves the following mobile marketing problems:
Consumers being flooded with unsolicited and untargeted messages;
Low advertising efficiency; and
Potential negative brand association for the advertiser from unwanted messages
